Robert Prettie & Co Ltd was founded in 1960 by Mr R R Prettie, who retired in 2000 following a Management Buy Out.
The work undertaken by the Company in its lifespan of almost 5 decades is one of diversity and has covered almost the whole range of plumbing and heating, together with a substantial amount of specialist mechanical services, ventilation and gas servicing.
The Company has followed a policy of expansion since its inception and is now one of the largest privately owned Plumbing and Heating Companies in the Midlands and is among the top twenty nation-wide.
Robert Prettie has 2 regional offices, 280 operatives, 30 apprentices and 60 clerical and technical staff.
The Company Turnover is now in the region of £40million. Electrical services are also provided by partnering relationships.
